a weekend in bohemia – Paarshoot mit Nicola und Vaclav

i just love unusual geology, such as these basalt columns or sandstone rocks, even more so as a background for portraits, so it was a special delight to take photos of this beautiful couple in front of the bohemian Panska Skala, not far away from the famous Elbe Sandstone Rocks. Vasek and Nicola – aren´t they just the cutest couple ?  even the wind played along beautifully on that day…Of course my dear mole and me wanted a souvenir photo as well :-)when near the german-czech border, it is always a good idea to plan one or two days off for a good hike, which we did from the lovely village of Arnoltice to the steep viewpoint Belvedere, just above the Elbe, or Labe as it is called in czech. when you find yourself in a fairy forestthe nearby city of DecinOn our second day, we hiked up from Bad Schandau, to enjoy the breathtaking view from the „Schrammsteine“, an exhausting but totally rewarding climb up steps and ladders. That is yours truly smiling because it´s going downwards for a change :-)
